Imphal, Feb 26: A meeting of all Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators in Manipur was held on Thursday at Thambal Shanglen, Nityapat Chuthek, Imphal, with Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh chairing the deliberations in the presence of BJP Manipur State President Smt. A. Sharda Devi. The meeting focused on strengthening the party's organisational network, enhancing public engagement, and ensuring transparent and accountable governance across the state.

According to party sources, the legislators reviewed the current political and developmental situation in Manipur and discussed strategies to reinforce the party's connect with people at the grassroots level. Emphasis was laid on improving communication between elected representatives and the public to ensure that local issues and developmental needs are addressed more effectively.
During the meeting, the MLAs stressed the importance of maintaining transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in governance. They agreed that elected representatives must remain accessible to the people and work collectively to resolve public grievances while accelerating the implementation of welfare and development programmes.
The legislators also deliberated on the need to strengthen coordination among party workers, public representatives, and government departments to improve service delivery and ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach every section of society. Special emphasis was placed on fostering inclusive development and maintaining close engagement with communities across both the hill and valley regions of the state.

The meeting concluded with the BJP legislators resolving to work with renewed commitment to uphold the trust and aspirations of the people. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening the party organisation at every level and building enduring relationships with the public through responsive governance. He stated that the government remains dedicated to creating a just, harmonious, integrated, and prosperous Manipur where development reaches every citizen without discrimination.
The meeting underscored the BJP leadership's resolve to combine organisational strengthening with people-centric governance as the state continues its efforts toward peace, stability, and sustainable development.
