The soldiers danced to “Badlu Ram Ka Badan,” a popular regimental folk-style song known for its energetic rhythm and earthy lyrics.
Widely associated with camaraderie and shared joy, the song has long been a favourite during informal gatherings and victory celebrations, especially among eastern and northeastern regiments. Its upbeat tempo symbolises bonding beyond rank and reflects the cultural vibrancy within the Indian Army. During the event, results of the Popular Choice Awards - based on a nationwide online poll conducted via the MyGov platform - were announced.
