Itanagar, February 20: Arunachal Pradesh celebrated its 40th Statehood Day with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy at IG Park in Itanagar on Thursday.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu attended the commemorative event held in the gracious presence of the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt Gen KT Parnaik (Retd.). The occasion marked four decades of Arunachal Pradesh’s journey as a full-fledged state of the Indian Union.
The celebration featured colourful traditional dances and cultural performances representing the rich heritage and diversity of the state. People from different communities gathered to showcase their customs, reflecting the spirit of unity that defines Arunachal Pradesh.
