Itanagar, February 5: The 5th Session of the 8th Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Thursday adopted the Motion of Thanks on the Hon’ble Governor’s Address, marking the successful conclusion of deliberations on the government’s vision and priorities for the state.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu said the address outlined a clear roadmap for inclusive growth, youth empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, environmental responsibility, green energy, and responsible tourism, reflecting a balanced approach to development while preserving Arunachal Pradesh’s rich heritage and biodiversity.

Khandu expressed gratitude to all Members of the House for maintaining a constructive and collaborative spirit during the session. He said the adoption of the motion reaffirmed the Assembly’s collective commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the people and building a stronger, self-reliant Arunachal Pradesh.
The session witnessed discussions centred on long-term development goals and governance priorities, with the government reiterating its resolve to pursue growth that is environmentally conscious and socially inclusive.
