Tsukian Lamheing Crowned Miss Khiamniungan 2026

Noklak, January 20, 2026: Twenty-two-year-old Tsukian Lamheing was crowned Miss Khiamniungan 2026 at a beauty pageant organised by the Khiamniungan Menyiu Hoikam during Khaozaosie – Hok-Ah cum Mini Hornbill Festival 2026. The event was held at the EAC Headquarters, Nokhu, under Noklak district, and carried the theme “Elegance Re-defined.”

In addition to winning the coveted crown, Tsukian Lamheing also bagged the Best Ethnic Modern Wear title. She received a cash prize of ₹30,000 along with gift hampers.

Songmo Khiamniungan was adjudged the First Runner-up, while Tainiu secured the Second Runner-up position.

Responding to the final question based on the theme “Elegance Re-defined,” Tsukian Lamheing said that elegance goes beyond physical appearance. She stated that in the present context, true elegance is reflected through a person’s character and inner values rather than outward beauty alone.

The programme was graced by Khaoshai Lam, SDO, PHED, Longkhim, as the Special Guest. Reflecting on the quote “A thing of beauty is a joy forever,” he remarked that genuine beauty is rooted in reconciliation, understanding, and dedication. He emphasised that beauty is not limited to external appearance but is defined by inner qualities that carry purpose and responsibility.

Highlighting the role and responsibility of Miss Khiamniungan, the special guest said the titleholder is expected to redefine elegance by upholding strong values, being a voice for the voiceless, and promoting social awareness. He expressed hope that the newly crowned Miss Khiamniungan would inspire young girls and stand for noble causes, adding that true beauty is ultimately reflected in one’s commitment and dedication to duty.

The contestants were choreographed and mentored by Jime Shiu, former Miss Khiamniungan First Runner-up 2023, who guided the participants throughout the pageant.
