Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Calls Engineers Architects of Progress at SEAT Inaugural Session

Agartala, January 24: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Saturday underscored the vital role of engineers in driving development and innovation, describing them as the real architects of progress in a rapidly evolving technological era.

Addressing engineers and participants at the inaugural session of the State Engineers Association, Tripura (SEAT) held at Nazrul Kalakhetra, the Chief Minister emphasised the need to enhance engineering skills, improve efficiency, and encourage innovative thinking to meet modern demands. He said engineers must move beyond conventional approaches and align their expertise with emerging technologies to contribute effectively to the state’s development.

Expressing pride in interacting with the engineering fraternity, Dr. Saha highlighted the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in strengthening Tripura’s infrastructure and growth trajectory.

Later in the day, the Chief Minister inaugurated a newly constructed three-storied Club House, Gym, and Dilip Smriti Library at the Modern Club premises in Nagarjala. The facilities are expected to enhance recreational, fitness, and educational opportunities for members and residents of the area.

On the same occasion, Dr. Saha also inaugurated a voluntary blood donation camp and encouraged donors, appreciating their selfless contribution to society. He highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives and strengthening healthcare services.

The day’s events reflected a strong emphasis on professional excellence, community development, and social responsibility, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable progress.
