Churachandpur DIC Concludes Two-Day Vendor Development Programme Under RAMP Scheme

Churachandpur, Dec 15: The District Industries Centre (DIC), Churachandpur, successfully wrapped up a two-day District Level Vendor Development Programme (VDP) cum Product Exhibition organised under the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) Scheme at the Synod Conference Hall, IB Road.

The programme, designed to strengthen the district’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, focused on enhancing market access for MSMEs, improving quality and compliance standards, and promoting digital onboarding for better linkage with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), major buyers, and procurement agencies.

Resource persons highlighted the importance of integrating local enterprises into formal supply chains and encouraged participants to scale up operations through improved competitiveness and innovation. Special sessions were also conducted to promote One District One Product (ODOP) initiatives and showcase local sector-based products, with an emphasis on sustainable growth and indigenous enterprise development.

The event witnessed participation from over 60 local entrepreneurs, representing a wide range of MSME sectors. At the conclusion of the programme, certificates were distributed to all participating vendors, marking the successful completion of the capacity-building initiative.

Officials noted that the VDP has helped create new opportunities for local businesses and expressed commitment to organising similar programmes to support MSME growth in the district.
