Churachandpur, Dec 9: The District Administration, Churachandpur, led by Deputy Commissioner Shri Dharun Kumar S, conducted a field inspection along NH-102B to assess the progress of ongoing NHIDCL road projects. ADC Mualnuam, Shri Thangboi Gangte, and officials from various departments participated in the inspection.
During the visit, serious concern was raised over the slow progress in Packages 4A and 4B, with the Deputy Commissioner directing NHIDCL officials to expedite construction “on a war-footing.” He emphasised the importance of fully utilising the State’s short working season to avoid further delays. Instructions were also issued to ensure timely completion of Packages 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B.
Following the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner chaired a District Review Meeting at the Mualnuam Sub-Divisional Headquarters. The meeting was attended by ADCs, District Level Officers (DLOs), and NHIDCL representatives, where departments presented progress reports and key achievements.
Officials stressed the need for improved coordination among departments and executing agencies to ensure the timely implementation of development initiatives across the district.
