Guwahati, Nov 6: The Government of Assam, led by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, has launched the Chief Minister’s Jibon Prerana Scheme to provide financial support and motivation to fresh graduates across the state in their pursuit of employment and self-reliance.
Under the initiative, eligible graduates will receive ₹2,500 per month for one year to aid them in job searches, preparation for competitive exams, or self-employment ventures.
The scheme reflects the state government’s continued focus on youth empowerment and skill development, aiming to bridge the gap between education and employment opportunities.
