Namchi, Sept 8: The 4th Namchi District Super League 2025, organized by the Namchi District Football Association (NDFA) in collaboration with the District Administrative Centre (DAC), concluded today at Bhaichung Stadium, Namchi, with a thrilling finale.
The final match, graced by Minister for Urban Development and Food & Civil Supplies, Mr. Bhoj Raj Rai, as chief guest, saw Childhood FC claim a decisive 2-0 victory over Red Panda FC.
Individual honors went to standout players: Mr. Sagar Gurung was named Man of the Tournament, Mr. Karma Bhutia of Childhood FC bagged the High Scorer Award, and Mr. Anith Subba of Red Panda FC earned the Man of the Match title.
The tournament, which commenced on July 24, featured spirited competition among seven clubs: Childhood FC, Red Panda FC, Sinalchu FC, Friends FC, Jorethang FC, Rabong FC, and Sikkim Kamrang FC.

Also present at the closing ceremony were Chairman of the Sikkim Youth Development Board and NDFA President Mr. Basant Yonzon, Additional Director of Sports and Youth Affairs Ms. Tshering Ongmu Bhutia, Deputy Director Mr. Basant Pradhan, and Father Francis Banerjee, Principal of Namchi Public School, along with NDFA members.
The event highlighted the growing football culture in the region, showcasing young talent and fostering community spirit through sport.
