Agartala, January 21: Renowned scientist and academician Arijit Das has been honoured with the State Award under this year’s scientific and environmental programme in recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions to innovation and research.
The award was presented during the State Day celebrations, acknowledging Dr Das’s sustained work in advancing scientific research and environmental initiatives. Currently serving at Bir Bikram Memorial College, Dr Das has earned wide recognition for his research contributions, with several notable achievements to his credit.
Congratulating the awardee, Manik Saha said that Dr Das’s work has brought pride not only to the state but has also gained recognition at national and international levels. He described the honour as a reflection of Tripura’s growing presence in the field of science and research.
