The workshop, organised by the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Nagaland in collaboration with ATI, aims to equip government officials with knowledge and skills to develop training modules for civil servants using AI-based tools.

Resource persons for the programme include Ranu Mukherjee and Maibam Warish from the Capacity Building Commission, Government of India.

The inaugural programme of the first-ever workshop of its kind in the state was attended by 65 participants from 35 government departments.

Delivering the inaugural address, Shashank Shekhar, Additional Chief Secretary (Agriculture) and Director General of ATI, highlighted that efficient and responsive governance has a direct impact on society. He emphasised that the fundamental role of the government is to serve the people and ensure better delivery of public services.

Officials from the Capacity Building Commission also made a presentation on the objectives and framework of the Capacity Building Plan under the national mission for civil service training.

The programme was chaired by Limakumla, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Livitoli Sukhalu. The event was also attended by Bendanglila along with other officers and staff of ATI.

The Capacity Building Plan will serve as a blueprint for identifying the training requirements of government departments, helping develop future-ready and citizen-centric civil servants while incorporating both national capacity-building goals and state-specific responsibilities.
